Products and services available on the platform
Tokenised U.S. stock derivatives: Robinhood offers derivatives linked to U.S. stocks or ETFs, represented through non-transferable tokens. The client does not own the underlying asset; rather, it holds a cash-settled derivative contract whose value depends on the performance of the reference asset.
Crypto derivatives (perpetual futures): the platform also offers perpetual derivatives on crypto assets. These are complex instruments designed for speculation on the price of specific crypto assets, with risks related to leverage, liquidation, volatility and funding.
Money Market Fund: a fund where the available buying power in the account can be invested. Its main objective is to preserve capital and generate a stable income stream, although it is not risk-free.
Custody, protection and safeguarding
Robinhood maintains custody of certain financial instruments and client funds in accordance with segregation and accounting recordkeeping frameworks. In the case of U.S. stock derivatives, individual accounts are maintained to reflect each client’s positions, and assets must be kept separate from the firm’s own holdings and those of other clients. For crypto derivatives, custody is handled through Bitstamp via an omnibus account opened in Robinhood’s name.
Does Robinhood offer ISAs?
Robinhood and UK ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts) have historically followed separate paths, but this has recently changed.
As of 2026, Robinhood does offer a Stocks & Shares ISA in the UK, marking a significant shift in its product offering. This allows UK investors to access tax-efficient investing directly through the platform. However, Robinhood’s ISA is still relatively new compared to established providers.
ISAs remain one of the most attractive investment structures in the UK, allowing investors to benefit from tax-free capital gains and dividends within the annual allowance.
