How to Open an Account with Rakuten from Sri Lanka


As with any other online app, opening a Trading Account with Rakuten Securities is quick and straightforward:


  1. Go to https://sec.rakuten.com.au/

  2. Upload an ID and a Proof of Residence.

  3. Choose the base currency.

  4. Deposit funds via Credit Cards (VISA or Mastercard), NAB, Skrill, Neteller, China Union Pay, Instant Transfer or Wise.


You may add money to your account in one of four currencies, including the US dollar (USD), the Australian dollar (AUD), The Euro (EUR) and the British Pound (GBP).
